With the recent outbreak of COVID-19, Shine Bright San Diego® has taken many precautionary measures to ensure the safety of our staff and our customers. We are focused on implementing the actions and guidelines as described by the CDC to stay current as it pertains to health and safety standards.
AS OF NOW WE ARE DEEMED AN ESSENTIAL SERVICE DUE TO THE CLEANING/SANITIZING NATURE OF OUR BUSINESS.
We are continuously educating and informing our staff to the latest OSHA standards surrounding COVID-19. While these precautions are not yet mandatory by either the CDC or OSHA, we feel it’s important to be diligent in our efforts to help flatten the curve.
For those interested in using our services we’ve implemented new procedures to make it as easy as possible.
CONTACTLESS SERVICE We have made our estimates and invoices completely paperless. We will email invoices for credit card payment that can be made securely online. We will also take payments by check that can be mailed, or preferably left at your front door or under a mat. We will reach out via email to arrange whatever payment option works best for you. Our sales rep does not need to have any contact for an estimate. He will walk around the property, not touch anything, and email you the estimate.
NITRILE GLOVES WILL BE USED FOR INTERIOR WINDOW CLEANING JOBS Or we can reschedule interior work for later down the road and still provide the exterior cleaning/sanitizing.
SOCIAL DISTANCING To further limit exposure, we will be following CDC guidelines in regards to social distancing. This includes giving our clients plenty of space, and banning handshakes for the time being. Additionally, none of our staff has any plans or desire to be in large crowds of any sort until the COVID-19 threat has passed.
HEALTH MONITORING Each of our employees go through a daily “health monitoring checklist” in which they are required to answer a set of health related questions, report sickness or contact with someone who is sick and also ensures that they are not running a fever. Each technician wears nitrile gloves, clean and sanitized shoe covers. We do not reuse rags or cleaning solution throughout the day.
We are also available to provide sanitizing services. Our soft wash mixture contains Sodium Hypochlorite 12.5%. It is twice as strong as normal household bleach and is an approved sanitizer by the CDC. We are able to help prevent the spread of the virus by sanitizing things like shopping carts, apartment breezeways, playgrounds, store fronts, houses and all other high traffic areas.
Shine Bright COVID-19 Safety Procedures Shine Bright San Diego has enacted the following policies in compliance with the San Diego County health care order related to COVID-19, issued on Wednesday, 3/18/2020.
Daily Screening Protocol
All employees of Shine Bright San Diego who are active in essential operations and enter our facility must follow these procedures each day.
Perform a self temperature check and view results. Disinfect the entire temperature sensor device with a disinfecting wipe immediately after use. Do you have a fever? Y/N
Are you experiencing shortness of breath? Y/N
Are you experiencing a sore throat? Y/N
Are you experiencing frequent diarrhea? Y/N
Other Screening Criteria
Are you aware of having had any close contact in the last 14 days with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? Y/N
Have you traveled internationally or out of state within the last 14 days?
If you answered yes to any of the above questions, you must observe the following actions immediately.
Notify management with details on your responses to the above screening protocols.
Disinfect any surface you have touched at our facility with a disinfecting wipe.
Stay home until you have fully executed the following protocols:
1. 3 days with no fever and 7 days since first symptom.
2. 14 days if close contact of diagnosed case of COVID-19.
3. 14 days following travel.
On Site Protocols
All employees of Shine Bright San Diego® who are active in essential operations and enter our facility must follow these procedures each day to ensure the safety of co-workers and limit the possibility of virus transmission.
Prevent entry of all non-essential personnel and any non-employee of Shine Bright San Diego™.
At any given time, no more than three (3) employees may be present inside our facility.
All employees present inside our facility or in it’s immediate vicinity must maintain safe social distancing of no less than 6 feet of spacing, to the extent possible.
To the extent possible, maintain social distancing while traveling to service locations by using separate vehicles. Employees may choose to use personal vehicles to travel to service locations, or use a second company vehicle for the same purpose.
